Super Science Saturday: Exploring Static Electricity

What happens to your hair when you rub it with a balloon?

Come experiment with static electricity at the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library this Saturday, May 19, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  This weekend, the library will be turned into a science lab for this interactive, hands-on learning event.  Children in grades K-5 will have the opportunity to use balloons, spices, and more to explore static electricity.

Delightful Sounds for Your Baby

Delightful SoundsJoin us at the Bloomingdale Regional Library on Wednesday for some music and fun for little ones!  Delightful Sounds for Your Baby brings families together while encouraging children to grow through the power of music! Enjoy bringing music into your child’s daily routine to improve their ability to think, reason, create, and express. 

This program, which  is graciously funded by the Friends of the Bloomingdale Regional Library, will take place this Wednesday, November 16, from 10:05 AM-10:25 AM and is geared toward children from birth to 18 months of age.

Creative Arts Theater Presents: The Snow Queen


Join us at the library for another great puppet show, The Snow Queen!  After one of the Snow Queen’s visits, some of the brightest and most beautiful children are missing.  Hans Christian Andersen’s story of unselfish love and friendship will put you in a holiday mood.

This program is presented by the Creative Arts Theater, Tampa’s resident professional children’s theater company.  Recognized throughout the United States for their work with puppets, the company has performed for more than one million children and their families during the past 40 years.
