Super Science Saturday: Exploring Static Electricity

May 14, 2012 at 3:10 pm

What happens to your hair when you rub it with a balloon?

Come experiment with static electricity at the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library this Saturday, May 19, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  This weekend, the library will be turned into a science lab for this interactive, hands-on learning event.  Children in grades K-5 will have the opportunity to use balloons, spices, and more to explore static electricity.

This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Bloomingdale Regional Library.  For more information about these and other FREE programs @ your library®, call (813) 273-3652 or visit http://www.hcplc.org/.
