Be Creative @ your library!
The Be Creative @ Your Library Summer Program offers an opportunity for kids to let their imagination loose by listening to stories, songs, poetry and more! A variety of professional performers- from magicians, to musicians, to dancers- will be featured at the libraries this summer!
The Hillsborough County Public Schools and the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative have also teamed up to help you explore your creativity with Summer Reading titles.

Reading with the Rays!
Read your way to the ballpark! The Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library is teaming up with the Tampa Bay Rays and the St. Petersburg Times to bring you Summer Reading fun! Stop by any local library to pick up a Reading with the Rays newspaper insert and Game Card so you can begin to read your way to the ballpark! As you read, fill out the Game Card and turn it in at your library to receive the following prizes:
1st base (read 3 hours)- receive a Rays pencil and bookmark
2nd base (read 5 more hours)- receive a Rays folder
3rd base (read 7 more hours)- receive a Rays poster
Home Plate! (read 9 more hours)- receive 2 free tickets to a Rays game on one of the participating Family Fun Days in August or September!
