Octoga Party!

Toga! Toga! Toga!  The John F. Germany library hosted a Percy Jackson-themed ‘Octoga Party’ on Saturday in honor of author Rick Riordan’s latest book, the Son of Neptune.

Participants learned about the different traits of Greek gods and used the Greek alphabet to make necklaces and decorate shields.  They competed in a Percy Jackson and Greek mythology trivia game and had fun dressing up in togas!

This program is part of the library’s ‘Super Saturday’ programs, which take place each Saturday at 2:00.  Click HERE to learn more about upcoming Super Saturday programs as well as other children’s programming at the John F. Germany library.
